Built for the marine industry to provide high level fire integrity, the MFD holds Type Approval Certification for cellulosic fire conditions A0 – A60 along with ATEX third party approval and Marine Equipment Directive (MED) certification from Lloyds Register. This includes recognition by the US Coast Guard (USCG) under the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).
The MFD is suitable for a range of use cases including in-duct, bulkhead and deck installations. It can be used in both safe and hazardous areas and has fully customisable design from simple control layouts to SIL2 certified assemblies.
